为增强同学们的节约意识和生态意识，引导学生养成勤俭节约的良好习惯，深入贯彻习近平总书记关于“厉行节约、制止餐饮浪费”等重要指示精神，落实学院“技能成才 强国有我”系列教育活动实施方案，5月31日晚，机电工程系开展“勤俭节约”主题班会活动。
主题班会活动中，各班从同学们的学习、生活等方面存在的浪费现象进行深度剖析，了解粮食对人民群众的重要性，让学生认识到铺张浪费的深远影响与危害。同学们交流讨论改掉坏习惯的金点子，节约的小妙招，讲名人名家的勤俭故事，牢固树立“节约光荣、浪费可耻”的观点。
通过此次主题班会，引导同学们树立勤俭节约，反对浪费，培养学生们的良好行为习惯和优秀道德品质，为构建节约型社会，共创文明校园打下坚实的基础。
